Canola Meal
As a result of removing the oil contained in the content of oilseeds, the remaining side product is called Pulp. Meals(pulps) are generally referred to and used as a source of protein in the feed industry. Canola is an oilseed plant containing 38% to 50% fat and 16% to 24% protein. Canola is also known as Rapeseed or Rapiska. Canola seed is used in food, livestock and fuel industries. After the oil is extracted from canola seeds, the remaining part is called Canola Meal. Canola meal has a high amino acid content. While it contains a limited amount of lysine, it is a rich source of protein in methionine and cystine. Therefore, it is an important protein source raw material of the feed industry.
