Whole soy is a feed raw material obtained by the implementation of the one of the extrusion and micronization processes of soybeans at thigh temperature and pressure. It is called Whole Soy(Fullfat) because all soybeans remain in the product. In some processes, some soybean oil is separated and Low-Fat Soy is obtained. With the controlled heat treatment, the anti-nutritional factors (protease inhibitors, hemagglutinins, urease) contained in soybean destroy the elements that decrease the value of lysine and other essential amino acids in the small intestine. In addition, heat treatment increases the taste and degree of digestion of carbohydrates. Due to its protein and its energy level, whole soy is especially preferred in feding broiler(broiler chicken),turkey and chickens. It is also recommended to use heat treated Whole Fat Soybean in ruminant feeding.
